Canada is vast. It's a North American country stretching from the U.S. in the south to the Arctic Circle in the north. Major cities include Toronto, Vancouver, Montréal and Québec City and the capital city Ottawa. Canada is immersed in wilderness that include the Rocky Mountains and Niagara Falls. There are almost 3,500 cities towns and villages, and Toronto is the largest. It's full of skyscrapers, glitzy shopping and home to the CN Tower, once the world's tallest, at 1,815 feet. Niagara Falls is within easy reach from Toronto and well worth a visit.
The second largest city in Canada, is Montreal, France's home away from home. The city's official language is French and spoken by more than half of the population. It's laid back and very chic.
Canada is full of interesting places to see and things to do. The only problem is deciding which part of Canada to head for!
Niagara Falls, Canada
One of the natural wonders of the world, Niagara Falls throws spectacular double rainbows.
Classy restaurants, top notch theatre, opera, museums and art galleries, there is plenty to see and do in Toronto.
Boasting dramatic mountain scenery, Belgian waffles, pitchers of margaritas and a lively apres scene, Whistler, on the west coast of Canada has a strong European flavour.
